Cushman & Wakefield announced today a realignment of the national management team. “These promotions position our team to tap into the vast potential of the Canadian market with an energetic and dynamic leadership group, aligned around the common goal of taking Cushman & Wakefield to the next level,” said Chuck Scott, CEO Canada. “This team has the exciting mandate to push the boundaries in growing the firm: retaining and recruiting the best people in the market, building a winning culture, and finding significant areas where we can invest in our platform to bolster our Canadian operations and I can't wait to get started.”
Mr. Zessel, in addition to his current Vancouver Market leadership, will now oversee all the operations in Western Canada, including Calgary. He has more than 35 years’ of industry experience, and a track record of building and maintaining one of the highest performing offices in Canada. Mr. Zessel will leverage his best practices and experience to deliver strategic growth in that market.
Mr. Teague joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2003 where he has been a consistent top performer with a proven track record of building deep client relationships. He is a recognized leader in the GTA real estate brokerage community with strong relations with both the Occupier and Investor sectors. Mr. Teague will leverage his exceptional client management skills and passion for winning to organize around our key relationships in the GTA market.
Mr. Caplice, formerly Market Leader for the GTA, has over 20 years’ experience in brokerage and in asset management. He will now be responsible for implementing national programs that drive high performance, execute strategic initiatives, drive broker productivity, and structure the firm’s business development activity around its clients. In addition, Mr. Caplice will provide executive leadership to Corporate Development initiatives.
“This reorganization aligns our structure around what our clients need to succeed – specifically strong leadership with deep local knowledge,” said Mr. Scott. “I’m thrilled with the strength of this team and excited to build on our past success with the help of Mike, Hendrik and Stefan.”
