Ron Emerson joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2007 specializing in industrial sales and leasing throughout Richmond, Delta, and South Vancouver. He has extensive experience in both landlord and tenant representation, industrial strata and freestanding building sales, and project marketing.
Recent notable transactions include: the sale of the Reliance Metals Industrial Portfolio (7 industrial buildings across Western Canada) on behalf of PIRET, the sale of Riverside Corporate Centre in Richmond, the sale of Silgan’s Plastic manufacturing facility in Richmond, the sale of a 7.5 acre parcel of industrial land in Kanaka Business Park in Maple Ridge, securing the mandate to lease the majority of Porte Realty’s industrial multi-tenant portfolio, securing both the leasing and lease renewals for Industrial Alliance's building located at 11151-11191 Horseshoe Way, Richmond, and the successful completion of all sales at Beedie Developments' Tilbury Corporate Centre strata project in Delta.
In addition, Ron was recently awarded the significant opportunity to sell both Phase I and Phase II of Beedie Developments’ new 23 unit, 10.25 acre strata development, "Delta Link Business Park“, located in the Tilbury Industrial Park. Ron and the C&W team sold 90% of the units prior to the construction of the project surpassing projections and expectations.
EDUCATION, MEMBERSHIPS, AND AWARDS
In 2007, Ron obtained his Real Estate license from UBC's Sauder School of Business and graduated from BCIT with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Diploma of Integrated Business Management. In addition, Ron has completed the following Professional Development courses: Industrial Property Valuation, CCIM Foundation Commercial Real Estate, Lease Analysis, Taxation and Analysis of Commercial Investment Property, Foreclosures and Court Ordered Sale, and all Real Estate E&O Legal Updates.
