DESCRIP.: The Canada Trust Tower is clad in rockville pink granite and green tinted glass. The lobby is finished in white creme delicato with red rosso verona marbles and black granite. The tower's lobby is linked to the six-storey galleria running from the main entrance on Bay Street through to Yonge Street, linking to Bay/Wellington Tower. This galleria was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatiara. The elevator banks encompass 23 single deck, high-speed electric passenger elevators in 4 elevator banks with 2 service and 5 shuttle elevators. They are finished in anigre wood paneling, stainless steel and marble. Typical floors offer 12 corner offices per floor with a 9' ceiling for raised floor capacity; 45' column-free core-to-window span; 5' planning modules with a 2 1/2' ceiling module. The internal environment is regulated through 28 individual temperature control zones per floor; 75 air changes per hour; variable air volume ventilation system; full height, double glazed windows with low-E coating.
